According to the late keyboardist Gary Corbett, he used to play this keyboard rig for this tour (as well as the Hot in the Shade Tour). There was the Jupiter line which was a very popular analog synthesizer with very typical '80s sound. It was the sound in "Reason to Live." Guitarist Bruce Kulick would play the keyboards on stage for that song during the show because they were so predominant. Perhaps KISS felt if the keyboards were there and nobody onstage was playing them, it would be apparent that there was somebody else.
